TNO-Brightlands Materials Center (BMC) is a joint innovation center between TNO and the Province of Limburg working on applied R&D activities for sustainable solution of polymeric materials.
Circular Packaging is one of the three research programs of BMC, which is currently focusing on the material performance development of plastic packaging with recycled content from the prevalent Dutch and EU waste management schemes, i.e. mechanical recycling, to support industry to fulfill the technical requirement of the upcoming packaging and packaging waste regulation and to meet the further goal in realizing EU green deal.
This presentation introduces the activities and services offered by BMC Circular Packaging research program.
