Philippe Muylkens, engineer with 18 years’ experience in the plastic industry. He joined KRAIBURG TPE in 2017 as Technical Sales Manager for the BeNeLux and UK.
Since 2023, he has taken over the responsibility of Expert in Automotive Application to support the development and market introduction of the new generation of TPE based, among other, on sustainable technologies.
Sustainability challenges are linked with plenty of challenges:
Meeting technical specifications and regulation, ensuring raw material availability, providing constant quality and cost-competitiveness.
Sustainability is not only offering recycling or bio-based product. It’s whole aspect that includes Product Carbon Footprint, water management system, avoiding the use of first-generation feedstock, offering more sustainable alternative to rubbers and silicone with high performances TPE, etc.
With his expertise, Philippe contributes to support the customers for their applications involving TPE.
