Besides inspiring exhibition with over 275 exhibitors, there is also an extensive program. This conference program will increasingly take shape in the near future. During the two days, various lectures will be given in 3 rooms. These lectures are provided by independent speakers and by experts on behalf of the exhibitors. As a trade association and / or network organizations, you can also reserve a room (small) through us at Brabanthallen. Think of a members meeting, board meeting or a project team meeting. Or maybe you would like to organize your own seminar during the Kunststoffenbeurs. The organization is happy to include your meeting in communication. Brainport Eindhoven and Mikrocentrum organize during Kunststoffenbeurs 2022 together an AM Masterclass

In the AM Masterclasses companies can get inspired about the possibilities of additive manufacturing. Per masterclass the participants get clear information about the possibilities to start or scale up 3D printing in a specific sector. Topics include the reason, returns, results, investments and the process of implementation. The masterclass is relevant for manufacturing companies, end users who have yet to be introduced to this manufacturing technology, as well as manufacturing technology suppliers who want to explore the AM market. Participants choose in which application areas they want to gain knowledge or about which aspects of the technology they want to learn. In addition, in the master classes we work with concrete business cases, we refer to training courses and we offer opportunities, through vouchers or innovation partnerships, to start exploring and experimenting with your desired applications. That is why we speak of a "learning community".

During the Kunststoffenbeurs 2022, lectures will focus the topics of flexible digital production, automation of single piece production, sustainable materials and the possibilities of multi-material printing.

Optimal networking during the extensive networking drinks - 14 September

Day 1 of the Kunststoffenbeurs will end with an extensive networking reception in hall 2. At the stand of Mikrocentrum (stand 250).
This starts at 16:30 and lasts until 18:30. Naturally, the organization will provide drinks, snacks and live entertainment. The networking drinks are intended for both exhibitors and visitors. We will make every effort to ensure that you can network in an informal atmosphere.

PS. On Wednesday evening, September 14, we invite you to have a drink at café 't Pantoffeltje. Address: Korte Putstraat 11, 's-Hertogenbosch. From 21:30 to 00:30 you are welcome. Of course Mikrocentrum provides the drinks. You are coming too! Let us know here if you are interested in participating.

Rethink Expo by Federation NRK and PlasticsEurope

One of the special theme squares that can be visited during the Kunststoffenbeurs, is the Rethink Expo by Federation NRK and PlasticsEurope. The Rethink initiative was extensively discussed during previous editions and also shows her knowledge and vision on social discussions during this edition and the involvement of the plastics and rubber industry. At the Rethink Expo visitors can discover how the industry is continuously working in an innovative way on sustainability, safety and quality of her activities and products.

Live Stage Plastics Arena

New this edition is the Live Stage Plastic Arena. This is an open stage on the exhibition floor where top players from the plastics and rubber industry present their vision on themes such as sustainability, smart solutions, recycling, digitalisation, knowledge and innovation. A moderator will conduct short interviews of no more than 10 minutes. The open stage allows you to walk in and out freely and gather around the stage.

MaterialDistrict Expo

Plastic is everywhere, from supermarket packaging to floors to your clothes. Unfortunately, everywhere really means everywhere: plastic is in nature, the oceans and even our own bodies. As the devastating effects of plastic become more apparent, it is time to rethink the way we use this material. To make plastic future-proof, we need to rethink the way we use available resources and our production techniques.

These 120 materials are meant to inspire new ways of looking at what is generally considered disposable material, from reuse to replacement. From the more obvious products of recycled plastic to bioplastics made from corn starch, coffee grounds or cow's blood, and from packaging alternatives such as pre-made paper to recyclable materials such as glass for acoustic panels, these materials show that "waste materials" are an excellent resource for various purposes as an alternative to plastic. And if plastic is your only option? New manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing offer a great way to reduce the amount of material needed.
