With the Rethink Awards, the NRK and Plastics Europe give the stage every two years to entrepreneurs who contribute to sustainability and the circular economy with their products and initiatives. For the first time since the start of the election, the prizes will be awarded during the Kunststoffenbeurs 2023 in the Brabanthallen, 's-Hertogenbosch. This will take place during the Rethink networking drink on Wednesday 20 September at 4:30 pm on the central stock exchange square.
Recycling acts as the catalyst for groundbreaking innovations in the industry, driving the transition towards a circular economy in line with the Resource Agreement of 2050. It's no coincidence that the central theme of the Kunststoffenbeurs 2023 on September 20th and 21st is: "Future of Plastics: Sustainable, Smart, and Innovative!"
Jan Eiko Kor and Kurt Callewaert, responsible for the Belgian market, have personally been present at the Kunststoffenbeurs since its first edition in the late 1990s, even back when they were with their former employers.
Knowledge about plastic and rubber materials opens doors to innovative packaging solutions. By staying informed about new developments and material properties, packaging designers and manufacturers can create groundbreaking and environmentally-friendly packaging solutions. These solutions cater to the constantly changing needs of consumers and industries, ensuring that packaging evolves to meet the demands of a sustainable and eco-conscious future.
During the 24th edition of the Kunststoffenbeurs, on September 20th and 21st at the Brabanthallen in 's-Hertogenbosch, the possibilities of plastics and rubber for sustainable product development and production will be at the forefront. Since 1999, this two-day fair has been known as the central meeting place for the Benelux plastics and rubber chain.
At the Machine Square of Kunststoffenbeurs 2023, both international and national exhibitors are showcasing state-of-the-art technology for the plastics and rubber industry.
